…..making Crab and Shrimp Dip on French Bread.

Okay, I have no idea what we’re calling this dish, but it doesn’t really have a name yet, so whenever that happens I just make one up based on description. We made this for Christmas and ever since, my mom has been whipping it up whenever she can. It’s a fast and easy snack, especially if you’re a fan of seafood. You can make a big batch and freeze some for a rainy day. When I moved out, my mom packed two big freezer bags of this for me to take and I was definitely appreciative of that.

8oz imitation crab meat, diced
1lb shrimp, finely chopped
1 medium sweet onion, diced
1 stalk of green onion, chopped
8oz shredded cheddar cheese
8oz mayo
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1 loaf of french bread, sliced

Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl.

Cut the french bread into 1/2 inch slices

Spread the mixture onto the slices of french bread and place on baking sheet.

Put in the oven on broil for a few minutes, until the bread is toasted and the shrimp is pink and cooked through. And then…..boom baby:
